Dates have been set for William Shatner’s previously announced one-man Broadway show, Shatner’s World: We Just Live in It. The Star Trek icon will begin performances on February 14 at the Music Box Theatre, and open on February 16. The limited Broadway run will conclude on March 4. No director has been announced.
In this solo show, two-time Emmy winner Shatner will revisit his highest highs and lowest lows live on stage. Though best known to TV fans for playing Captain Kirk on TV’s Star Trek, his many other screen credits include T.J. Hooker, Rescue 911, The Practice and Boston Legal. He appeared on Broadway in the ‘50s and ‘60s in Tamburlaine the Great, The World of Suzie Wong and A Shot in the Dark.
The Broadway run of Shatner’s World is expected to be followed by a 15-week national tour.
